Summer Camps and High Performance Hockey Training at The RINK are changing the way people train.
Ask yourself "are your kids getting the most out of their time at an all day camp?" At The RINK, our programs are put in place to allow players to maximize what they can get out of themselves in preparation for the upcoming season. There will be Day Camps (either half day or full day) or the High Performance Hockey for players to take their individual game to the next level.
Day Camp Structure will include:
- Morning, Afternoon or Full Day camp options.
- Skill Specific Topic each week that rotates so players get to pick the topics they want to come to and how they can improve.
- Players can benefit more from shorter duration and more specific training to maximize their individual Skill Development.
- Changes to player's skills take more then 5 days, they take repetition and practice. Players can work on skills in half day sessions and work for a more consistent time frame to take their game to the next level.
- Each Block will contain: 60 min Skill Specific Ice Session, 60 min Skill Specific Off-Ice run by ELITE FITNESS, 60 min Class Room Session with Video Review of Weekly Skill.
- Small Group Training with only 12 kids per session. This means more individual feedback from experienced RINK coaches.
- 5 Day options Include; Shooting Fundamentals, Mechanics of Power Skating, Precision Passing and more.

- Each Session will include a Power Skating Topic and a Skill Topic to push players to get better.
- Separate groups for Males and Females
Dave Cameron, who is one of the most experienced Power Skating and Skills Instructors in Western Canada, has a unique understanding of how to break down the stride and specific skills for the game. With a background in hockey and a degree in Kinesiology, Dave and his team of coaches will give you instruction as to how to make you a better player. In order to become a better player, players need repetition and practice. At The RINK players will not be run through practice, but rather instructed as to how THEY can improve individually.
