Clinic Information June 25th.
This weekends clinics for Novice and Atom players will be the final Power Skating Clinic in the Spring Series. The topic will cover Cross Overs and Tight Turns to allow players to drive thru turns with speed. We will work on getting players balanced so they can control their bodies even if another player is close to them. We will work with players breaking down these turns from a technical side, then add in speed and drills to challenge them to put these into game situations.
The Clinic Topic for the Pee Wee and Bantam players will be Body Checking. This will be working to allow players to get comfortable both giving and receiving checks. The game is played with other players always around you and players have to get comfortable knowing that. When players can learn to hit properly and receive checks the game comes much easier as there is little fear or hesitation. We will work to builds players confidence in both giving and receiving checks to allow them to take their physical game to the next level.
